The FC Bayern staff took several trips to the United States this summer to help ID players from the East Coast all the way to the West Coast. This year, two World Cup Winners have been part of the FC Bayern staff traveling. Klaus Augenthaler, 1990 World Cup Winner and FC Bayern Hall of Famer, will be joined by fellow 1990 World Cup Winner Hans Pfluger. Pfluger played for FC Bayern as a youth player from ‘75 to ‘81 before breaking into the senior squad where he represented FCB for 15 years.

The FC Bayern ID Program, a club neutral program established in 2015, is geared towards discovering the most talented players with the potential to represent FC Bayern at a professional level. All ID coaches are required to follow a strict development plan that falls in line with FC Bayern’s methodology.  The FC Bayern ID Residential Camp is the culmination of the FC Bayern ID programs held throughout the United States during 2018/19 season that focuses on Boys and Girls born in 2007 & 2008.  In 2018/2019 over 1000 players have been participating in the program across 28 States and US Territories.
