Global Premier Soccer are proud to announce a recently revamped partnership with AFC Bournemouth and AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust, located on the South coast of England.  The new affiliation will see GPS as an official recruiting partner for the AFC Bournemouth Coaching Academy and Higher Education Business Degree.  Additionally, AFC Bournemouth CST will arrange an annual soccer camp in the US for all interested recruits.

Recently, The Isle of Wight College has teamed up with AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust to deliver a Higher Education Business degree alongside FA Coaching qualifications for students who wish to progress their career in the Soccer world. Dedicated to ‘Putting Students First’, the College delivers exceptional standards of teaching and learning.  The 3 year degree course will see students complete an range of business modules including Marketing Principles, Business Ethics and Finance among others.

The International Department has welcomed students from around the world since 1991 and continues to provide excellent educational programs, welfare and support. International Students receive first class academic and tutorial support ensuring students achieve their goals.

During 2010, AFC Bournemouth CST took on 36 students for their Soccer Coaching Academy alone.  This alternative option of a year long college course allows the students to learn the skills of coaching, gaining qualifications in Football Association Level 1 coaching and National Vocational Qualifications in sport, recreation and allied occupation.

Global Premier Soccer Director of Operations, Peter McDonnell explained the value of this new collaboration to US students with an interest in coaching education, “Our new tie with AFC Bournemouth CST offers a brand new option for US Student’s interested in exploring the world of soccer coaching and matching it with a recognized Business degree.  It brings them to the home of soccer where they will ascertain a top quality English Football Association coaching qualification in addition to being involved in the game of soccer and gaining sport, business and recreation qualifications for a year or three year program”.
