About Dundalk Institute of Technology

Dundalk Institute of Technology’s mission is to provide the community with quality third level education and services, relevant to the economic social and cultural development of the region in the national and international context. It aims to promote personal responsibility among all its students and enhance the professionalism of all its members in a supportive, inclusive and productive environment.

Dundalk Institute of Technology is a 90 acre campus situated between Dublin and Belfast (each approximately 50 miles away). The campus is 1/2 mile from the main Dublin Belfast road and 3 minutes drive from the M1 motorway to Dublin. Dublin Airport is a 35 minute drive by car. Dundalk is served by the Dublin Belfast Train corridor and Dundalk's Clarke Station is approximately a 20 minute walk (or 6 euro taxi ride) from the campus.

Dundalk Institute of Technology has four Schools, and each School has several Departments with many courses (or 'programmes') on offer. You can also study part-time at the Lifelong Learning Centre or apply for one of the many apprenticeships on offer (through the School of Engineering).
