Global Premier Soccer is providing the opportunity for US based Soccer programs to hire Professional Soccer Coaches from Ireland, the UK and Europe. These coaches will become full time staff members for your organization often at the same price you are paying now for a part time coach. The standard profile of a GPS staff member is someone with a Sports Management, Sports Science or Leisure Studies degree, who has a UEFA C license and at least 2 years coaching experience.
Global Premier Soccer currently supplies staff for the following USL franchises and soccer clubs; Boston Renegades, Cape Cod Crusaders and the Portland Phoenix. The GPS staff at these clubs fulfill roles in camps, clinics, the Academy, Premier teams and even as coaches the PDL and W-League teams. They also fill vital administrative roles that support all on field activities.
How are GPS coaches sourced and screened?
Global Premier Soccer has over 10 years of experience recruiting coaches in Europe. We have developed relationships not just with colleges but with national associations such as the FAI and IFA. We hold interviews at numerous times throughout the year and have a track record of hiring coaches who have gone on to have successful careers in the US. We also provide orientation and training prior to arrival in the US.
What about work visas?
Global Premier Soccer will provide the expertise necessary to ensure a successful visa application process. We currently use the H-2 visa, the J-1 and the new 12 month J visa specific to Irish students and recent graduates from Irish colleges. Global Premier Soccer can manage the process from applying to the US Department of labor, to submitting a petition to USCIS (US Immigration), all the way to the final interview at the US Consulate. This process can take up to 6 months which means you will need to commit to GPS 9-12 months in advance of needing a coach or coaches.
What sort of compensation package are these coaches expecting?
The compensation package can vary depending upon whether you can provide housing and transport. A standard compensation package will include a flight to your location, accommodation with a host family (usually a player in your club), access to a vehicle and a weekly salary. GPS can provide you with more details that show the comparison and savings of hiring a GPS coach versus a local coach.
What are the GPS fees?

In addition GPS provides you an opportunity to see the coach before you make a hiring decision. At your own cost you can fly the coach to your organization for a week long evaluation period with no commitment required on your part.
